How to

How to track and share your goal accomplishments

Keep a running list of what you already did, and let the days count themselves. Then share one page that shows both, when you choose to.

Tracking keeps you honest with yourself. Sharing, done right, is not bragging: it shows people what you are about and lets the ones who care follow along.

Step by step

On iPhone, Android or the web

  1. Open your profile in Daily Captain and fill your Cookie Jar: things you already did. Add a win whenever you have one.
  2. Close your days. Your closed days and the goals you got done are counted for you.
  3. Publish your page. It lives at dailycaptain.app followed by your User Tag.
  4. Tap Share. Pick Story or Square for the image, and switch on Show my numbers if you want your closed days, goals done and wins on it.
  5. Send it: share it to another app, send it on WhatsApp, or copy the link. Where your phone offers it, save the image and post it as a story.

Why it works

A list of wins you already have is fuel on a slow day. It is easy to forget how far you came.

The numbers keep themselves. Every day you close already counted them, so there is nothing extra to log.

A page, not a feed. People see what you are about, follow you with Connect, and your approved quotes start showing up on their day.

Questions

Is my profile public?

Only once you publish it. Until then, Share asks you to publish first.

Can I share it to Instagram stories?

Yes, as an image. Pick Story, save or share the image, and post it from Instagram.

What counts as an accomplishment?

Anything you already did and are proud of. The Cookie Jar is for wins you have, not goals you want.

Can I keep my numbers off the image?

Yes. They are only on it when Show my numbers is on.
