Daily Captain Accessibility Statement

Version 1.0 · Last updated 11 September 2026

Daily Captain is made by Heegstra LLC. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or a high-contrast setting. This statement covers the web app at dailycaptain.app and the same app installed from an app store, which show the same screens.

What we aim for

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our target, not a claim that we meet it everywhere yet. We check every screen with automated tools and by hand before we ship it, and we last ran a full check on 8 September 2026. We have not had an independent audit.

If something is in your way

Tell us. Email hello@dailycaptain.app or use the feedback option inside the app, and say which screen and what happened. The device, browser, and any assistive technology you use help us reproduce it. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner. If a barrier stops you from getting something done in the app, say so and we will help you get it done another way while we fix it.

Changes

We review this statement whenever we ship accessibility changes and at least once a year. The version line at the top shows the current version.
