Daily Captain is made by Heegstra LLC. You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app: open Settings and choose Delete my account.
Deletion takes your public page and photo down at once, removes your quote submissions from the community and the weeks you sent from your buddies' inboxes, and puts everything else on a 30-day clock: your sheets go offline right away and are erased after 30 days by an automatic cleanup. Signing in during those 30 days brings it all back.
What outlives the account: a paid invoice, which tax and accounting law require us to keep, and the consent records the Privacy Notice lists in section 6. They are kept for that and for nothing else. Your card details were never ours; Link holds them under its own policy.
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email hello@dailycaptain.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days, usually much sooner, and we may ask you to confirm control of that address first, because it is the only identifier we hold.
The Privacy Notice says what we keep and for how long.
